Who we are
The “Samaritan Heart” is the humanitarian arm of Watchmen on the Walls, a non-profit 501-C3 organization, which strives to fight extreme poverty in lower and lower-middle income countries by meeting the immediate social needs of the less fortunate. Activities of the Samaritan Heart include providing clothing, food, medicine and other basic needs to women, orphans, and disadvantaged children, constructing school buildings ...
Deep within our hearts we believe in extending mercy and also training opportunities for others by attending to their physical, material, and capacity building needs.
However, missions, whether they be a “long-term” or a “short-term” experience, are not an end by themselves, but simply part of an on-going effort of bringing about change and positively impacting the lives of thousands of people.
Bring love and, hope to a hurting world through education, health care for the needy among which orphans, widows … all over the world, in America (Washington DC), in Asia, and Africa…
Our objective is to travel all over the world bringing hope to the hopeless. We have led missions trips to Niger, Benin, Togo, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, India, Burkina-Faso, for the purpose of outreach, supplying humanitarian aid to villages and cities throughout these nations where our organization takes care of hundreds of orphans and street children.
Because of the uncertain times economically, socially, politically in which we are living, our international missions’ trips take on a whole new level of urgency and importance.
